Small moveable lump on my breast - discovered by the GP and been referred

I suppose I’m looking for similar experiences! I went to the GP as I have a rash on the side of my breast and I had also experienced a bit of nipple pain (pain when knocked). I freaked out after googling these symptoms together!

The GP does not think the rash is related to the breast pain, but she did find a small, mobile lump in that breast. I have been referred for urgent testing and will be seen within two weeks. She told me not to worry, as it’s mobile and that’s a good sign?! And I’m not… except it’s hard not to have a bit of a cloud of fear over me.

Does anyone else have experiences of similar?

My health has been crap lately. I got an RA diagnosis in January. I’m usually someone who is in good health and take ridiculously good care of myself, and am feeling a bit powerless and urgh! I’m in my mid 40s.

Yep, three times so far on the 2ww. One was a lymph node, which felt like a hard baked bean. Others were like chewing gum and turned out to be fibrous tissue. All totally fine. Best of luck, they could tell all of mine straight away on the ultrasound, but as my GP said, you can't be 100% sure just by feeling so she'd always rather refer.

Thank you! That really helps to know!
