wtf were these waves of abdominal pain?

No idea what yesterday was all about.... Started at 1pm with what felt like a tightening around mid tummy. It was like a band around my whole middle inc belly button area. As the day went on I then has these zaps of intense tummy pain but only lasted 1 second. Then it went off for an hour but then had dinner and then had more intense stabbing/rolling/pinching type pain in tummy mainly middle again but sometimes moved to left and could be felt in back. They lasted a second max each time but were like every 15 mins or so. Fell asleep at 2am and woke fine but what the hell was that?? Pain was intense but never stayed longer than a second each wave and was not marrying with appendictits I have seen and I was passing wind and poo fine. I suspected gallbladder but was to far down? 43 and not pregnant no s3x for a year lol

Trapped wind?

I have had horrible trapped wind before but this was coming almost rolling intensely in waves. It only lasted a second each time. I guess tummy spasms and wind could do this just never experienced anything like it. I sound so dramatic but it was so weird. Thanks for replying x

I would have thought gall bladder but I get that more intensely in my back.

I've had this its really intense I ended up going to the drs it was that bad. Try some buscopan

Thank you what did Dr say it was and how long did it last? It did really freak me out. I kept away from A and E as I was ok in between waves and was pooing and passing wind fine but my goodness I am hoping it never happens again.

Few days i was pooing and farting to. I don't think they really did say but they prescribed me the equivalent of buscopan and said try this and it worked

Surely your bowel trying to deal with ?off food, ?being dehydrated, ?too much meat, ?too much hard to digest veg / pulses / sugar?

My gall bladder pain was basically right under my bra line. It was the most horrific pain I’ve ever felt and I genuinely thought I was dying. I hate drawing attention to myself but I was sat curled up in a ball on the floor of a&e
