Leg pain

Yesterday my leg sudden started hurting, the pain got worse quite quickly. All the way down my thigh and calf.
it’s not a nerve jangly sciatic pain, more like a hot inflammation type pain. It kept me awake most of the night, and has gradually improved a bit over the day. It hurts whether I move or stay still. No redness or any marks on the skin.
Any idea what it might be, and how I can improve it? DH suggested a massage, but it doesn’t feel like a muscular pain (nor a joint pain). It’s not localised in one area particularly.

'a hot inflammation type pain' may need to be checked as a potential clot.

As it is the weekend, I'd review the NHS page and see if it advised calling 111?

Just search 'NHS DVT' and see if it looks possible.

@newornotnewthank you. It did cross my mind, but the pain goes all the way down my leg, and there is no swelling or redness.

DVT sometimes has no symptoms, so the absence of redness is neither here nor there.
DVT pain can be from the thigh down.

Have you tried entering the symptoms into the online symptom checker for 111?

No one can really advise you online, only a doctor can advise - 111 is always there.

@newornotnewthanks - I’ve done the symptom checker, and it says to manage at home. I’m not really concerned, I just thought someone might have had similar, and have an idea of how to soothe it - like a cold bath or rest it or something.
