Go and get it looked at. You might need antibiotics if it’s infected. Difficult to see with the nail
polish but it looks as if it is from the side and underneath.

Yes it is and you need antibiotics

its a paronychia (nail fold infection) from an ingrowing toenail. Doesnt always need antibiotics. You should remove the nail varnish to be able to see the extent of infection. soak in warm water for 15 minutes then the nail needs to be separated from the skin (no cutting!) and that will allow the pus to be released there might be some blood mixed in but that's normal. If you're immunosuppressed or there's spreading redness, heat or it doesn't get better in 24hrs then it's need to be seen.
To prevent it from happening again make sure you cut nails straight across

Paronychia ( nail fold soft issue infection) . There is a small pocket of pus.
soak the foot in a bowl of warm water with a spoonful of salt to soft the nail fold. Gently push back the nail fold away form the nail with a clean blunt instrument like tweezers held together( all the way from the top corner to the bottom of the nail little by little ) to release the pus and then squeeze.

Take a look at this video, 'youtube video to treat paronychia‘
