Topiramate 'bobble head' sensation

I started taking topiramate for migraine prevention over the weekend and was warned about lots of lovely potential side effects, but nobody mentioned that I might feel like a bobble head! I don't how else to describe the feeling. It is literally as if my head is wobbling even though I know it's still - I've even asked family because it feels so real! Has anyone else experienced this and did it last long? In general, how long did side effects last? I've scared myself a bit reading other people's stories online 😬

ditto didn’t like Topiramate at all made me feel very unwell as bad as the migraines didn’t feel safe to drive etc and didn’t ease off after several months so I changed medication again, still on the road to actually preventing migraines 🫥

Good luck @brightnails it's a nightmare isn't it! Not helped by people thinking it's 'just' headaches 😒

I started with Amitriptyline which did nothing except give me nightmares and I have BP too low for Propranolol to even be considered...fun fun 🙃

you’ve just reminded me; @CaptainCanarythe other night I had a terrible “sleep” had sleep paralysis and everything, thought “I must have forgotten my tablets” found some P&A in my room took it, went to sleep but then in the morning the little glass I always put them in was empty in the kitchen so I may have taken double 😳
