Chest pain and cough four weeks after keyhole gallbladder surgery

Had my gallbladder out 4 weeks ago today (keyhole surgery) for the last week i have very occasionally had sharp chest pains when breathing in but maybe a few times a day, and a dry cough. Today I have woken up with a thick chest and the cough is now bringing up green mucus. No temperature, no signs of DVT or anything like that just very intermittent chest pains and a cough. Is this something I can wait out? Google is very like dial 999 now but honestly a bit of a cough isn’t something i would even consider bothering a GP about if i hadn’t had surgery a few weeks ago. As it’s Easter weekend the GP surgery won’t be open until Wednesday so it’ll be out of hours doctor if i need seen (we don’t have 111 here) basically i need someone to tell me what to do so i can stop dithering!

Chest pain always needs to be investigated urgently, so you should dial 999.

I don’t think it’s for 999, i’ve been able to mill about all morning and cook etc i am fine really. DH say if there was anything wrong with me id be short of breath so not to be worrying 🤷🏻‍♀️ obviously he is not medically qualified 🤦🏻‍♀️
