Since 10.30 pm last night ds1 (2.6) started being sick it was every half hour all through the night and then today every hour or so. He has only been able to have an egg cup of water every hour, anymore than that it and it comes straght back up. He's been asleep since abut 8pm so it's good he hasn't been sick again so far but if he's the same tommorrow when do I start to be worried about dehydration? He was asleep on the couch most of today and when he wasn't asleep he was just lying there staring, he was responsive though. He also has a temperature but has sicked up any medicine i've given him. Dp has also started with it tonight, i'm not feeling so hot and no doubt dd will get it soon. I'm also very worried about my 5 month old ds2 getting it because wouldn't it be really dangerous for him? They've had tummy bugs before but nothing to this extent.

My 12mo DS had several tummy bugs over the winter. Doc told me that if water stays down for 15 mins then they will have absorbed some of it. It was pretty scary and he started throwing up green stuff for hours so NHS direct told us to go to A&E to get him checked out, he was fine in the end but took a few days to get back to normal. I would see how your DC gets on tomorrow morning and call NHS direct if you are worried. Hope you are all much better very soon.
