Taking Antihistamines daily

Is there any long term dangers in taking one every night. I am taking Loratidine I read someone taking about urinary retention with Antihistamines and definitely don’t want that.

I take cetirizine every day and at the moment add in fexofendine daily aswell. Have done this for years, no problems of any kind.

At my last hospital appt, the doc said antihistamines are amongst the safest meds out there

Surprisingly it seems to be helping my bladder issues.

I don’t think there are any recognised long term consequences of taking loratadine. I take it for the whole hay fever season each year and often inbetween for other allergies and have done for decades now.

I take prescribed fexofenadine daily and have done for years. No side effects. Will take it all my life.
