Persistant mark after chicken pox medication

Hello, my child had a mark appear on their leg a couple of weeks ago whilst on antiviral medication for chicken pox. This mark has still not dissapeared. Has anyone had similar or know what it could be? I want to say it is like a bruise but at the same time it isn't. It will soon be 3 weeks they have had this for. Thanks for any advice.

Looks like a "fixed drug eruption" side effect of the drug. Can happen with aciclivir. Should go by itself but can need steroid cream.

Thank you for your reply, i have had a look and i would say that is exactly what it seems to be from reading up on it. Hopefully it isn't something that will reoccur again as he should hopefully not need aciclivir in the future. It doesnt bother him so i may see if it fades on its own. Thank you.
