Has anyone had a punch biopsy?

I’m due to have one next week on a patch of skin on my shin. What’s it like? The appointment is 8.30 in the morning and I’m due in work at 3.30 - will this be OK?

I had one on my cervix a couple of weeks ago. It was totally fine and I could have gone back to work straight away but the appointment was late in the day.

That sounds better than I imagined. Thank you.

It’s quick but can be quite sore once the anaesthetic wears off. I agree, you can go back to work afterwards.

Ask for local anaesthetic. It hurts!
