concussion

bear with me as not up to typing much,has anyone had this? Bashed head a week ago, been checked out, head killing and cant think straight ,feels like it will never go, am on holiday too!

I had a serious fall at th start of January. I blacked out in the bathroom, went down like a brick and actually broke the prcelain bottom part of the loo with my head. Nearly killed myself. Not nice.

Anyway, even after the intense swelling went down and the stitches were out I continud to feel very dizzy for about 2-3 months after. i could stand up and then fall into the wall and it gradually tailed off til I was just feeling a bit dizzy sometimes.

Mine was a severe bash which is why it took so long but concussion can cause symptoms for quite some time. Hopefully yours wasn't so bad.

oh dear, teri,that sounds awful. Glad you are better now! Mine wasnt as bad, i walked hard into a scaffold pole.have also got whiplash, which isnt helping. Luckily am away on holiday this week and can rest and get help,although it's been ruined. Am typing on tiny phone keyboard. Back to real life on Mon, hope it improves by then. Thanks for the advice mh
