So I had a FBC blood test , my results are back and it’s flagged up I’ve got Low vitamin D , my Plasma C reactive protein level is 15 the normal is 0-5 and my red blood cell count is 0.473 and it says the normal is 0.36-0.46

i have an appointment to discuss the results but can anyone tell me what I’m likely to expect please?

thank you

Not much. They’re all pretty acceptable really. Take some Vit D.

Depending how low your Vit D is you could request HuxD3 to be prescribed

CRP of 15 isn’t a worry, we get that with a cold. RBC not an issue. At most some vit D supplements I reckon.

CRP is your level of inflammation, increases risks of illness. You can reduce it with heathy living. I’d request another CRP in 6 months incase it’s connected to having a cold. I have an autoimmune disease so I work hard to keep my CRP low, last time it was under 0.6 (lowest possible reading).
