Can staying on the pill into my 50s mask menopause symptoms?

I’m in my mid to late 40s and I’m on the pill. If I was to carry on taking it way into my 50s would it mask my menopause symptoms?

I'm 54 and due to stop taking norgestron next jan when I turn 55.
I've had a few menopause symptoms, anxiety, joint pain, insomnia but certainly not the full list.
I work with a lady who came off the pill at 55 and her only side effect is hot flushes.
I'm assuming the progesterone in my pill is definitely helping me.

Yes! Stopping contraception was how i knew something was 'wrong' I was only 41 and planning on TTC

I think it has definitely helped, I’ve only recently started taking HRT, suffered with some sweats and occasional anxiety and a bit of brain fog but hadn’t felt the need for HRT, I ended up taking it mostly so I could get a testosterone prescription. I’m about to turn 50.

This is what I plan to do. Currently 44 and don’t intend to stop
