Metformin frequent urination

I have been on Metformin recently and finding I am peeing a lot which isn’t supposed to be a side effect Anyone else experienced this.

Presuming you are taking metformin for diabetes it is possible that you are weeing a lot due to the condition rather than this medication.

When you next have your check up ask about your kidney function. Most type 2 diabetics have CKD, chronic kidney disease, to some extent. Stages 1-3 usually mean keep your blood glucose and blood pressure under control. Having to pee, especially at night can be a sign of it.
