Sore throat/illness lingering for 3 weeks

I have had this sore throat / been unwell for nearly 3 weeks and wondering if anyone has had anything similar.

Started as a really bad cold, turned into a sore throat and a cough. Generally I am slowly getting better, but with my throat it will like go for two days and then come back again really painful on the other side, then repeat, like settle for a day or two and then come back.

Also having daily headaches and no energy - just don’t feel myself at all.

I’m sick of taking pain killers now and tried antibiotics twice after two visits to GP. I’m just wondering if anything had anything similar really!?

Same here, I’ve still got this, it’s been around 4 weeks now, I have a few days of feeling a bit better then everything takes a turn to come back!

Currently have a clear chest at last so no more cough (for now), but the cold is the heaviest it’s been in 4 weeks and my sinuses are killing.

Oh god, this is me too. At my wits end now. Had covid feb half term (6 weeks ago) just started to feel better from that and got a cold. That has turned into a sinus infection and im so tired and emotional. Sick to death of blowing my nose and feel like ill never be well again 🫩😫

My son and I caught this last week. We’ve felt so poorly.
blocked noses, tickling horse cough, no energy, no appetite. its bloody awful and I want it to do one 😤
