Does anyone know a reliable one? I bought a Calpol one before DD was born - so is now non-returnable - and it is useless. It gives widely variable readings.

Braun Thermoscan - you can get them at Tesco's. The NHS use them now, so I'm guessing they're pretty reliable.

Oh and when you join the Tesco M&T club you used to get sent a £5 off voucher for the thermoscan. Am not sure if you get the voucher upon joining, or after a while though.
