Throbbing Pain When Urinating

Very random and google is giving me nothing. Every time I go for a wee I have this throbbing pain on my low right hand side, where I imagine your appendix would be. Obviously not my appendix as only sore when doing a wee or sitting on the toilet. No urgency or other signs of a UTI so don’t think it’s that. Has anyone ever experienced this? Don’t want to take up an (impossible to actually get) GP appointment if it’s nothing!

Could be an ovarian cyst?

Would that throb when doing a wee?

You can get tested for a UTI at the pharmacy who uses the pharmacy first system.

This will then rule out a UTI

It might if it’s pressing against the urethra.

Just in case anyone comes back to this and it helps them, turned out to be a cyst on my right ovary that had been bleeding.
