Handhold needed please

Hi all i just need a handhold for my husband please, he has a hard lump at the top of his stomach just under his ribs with other symptoms, heartburn and feeling funny when eating, he has an appointment at the doctors tomorrow. Its about an inch across and really hard and irregular, not soft,
We've been thinking some kind of hernia but arent sure, it dosent push back in. Its too far down for a hiatus hernia. just really worried, wondered if anyone else has had this kind of thing and it turned out to be a hernia or cyst thank you in advance x

She posted at almost 9pm, he won't be going until the morning (Thursday)

Thank you xxx . His appointment is at 3pm today and I will update after. Im guessing he will get referred for a scan or camera and I have told him he insists on it.

He will need blood tests and a CT scan or ultrasound of his abdomen. How old is he op?

He has just gone 50
He said he noticed it a few weeks ago and its got bigger. Am so worried. X

In your shoes I would be too as I have terrible health anxiety but at this stage it could be a number of things, but he needs tests asap.

Make sure the GP doesn’t fob him off - emphasise the lump and not the heartburn as they’ll just give him omeprazole. He should be referred for an endoscopy or at the very least an abdominal ultrasound for starters.

He has been referred for scans and xrays fast tracked. The doctor can't say what it is 😞 but dosent think its a hernia

I'm glad to hear he's been referred for the tests and quickly too. I know you must be scared but the quicker you sort this the better. Sending a hand hold x

His scan is tomorrow.
since I last posted the lump has grown and you can feel jagged bumps around it. Really worrying 😟 xxxplease send positive vibes that its something benign and easily sorted xx
