anyone use this?

can you confirm if cream (not lotion) is slightly bit granuly / bitty?

tried various tubes in shop and they were all like that...surely a whole boots shop can't have "off" cream!!!

worried as been using the stuff on my baby and now think he may have been not uv protected!!!!!!!!

hi i have boots soltan factor50 in a bottle ( i think its lotion ) and its not bitty at all, you have to rub it in quick though otherwise it goes like lard!

My DS is now 2 and I have used this stuff since he was born and still do! I think its fab he has severe eczea and is only one that works for his skin I use it too coz I burn very easily. I dont think its bitty but the lotion is quite runny if u use that.

AnybodyHomeMcFly · 16/06/2008 22:11

I could never get it to rub in and have switched to Soltan kids instead which is better. Wasn't bitty tho, just lardy.

bumbly · 16/06/2008 22:41

what does lardy mean?

by bitty i mean when you spread cream there are tiny little globules/specks..then they all blend in!

lardy means like cooking lard!

Just got back from 2 weeks in Spain & used this on my girls. Both are fair skinned & although they were smothered in it 3 times a day, they did get a bit of a tan,but not burnt at all.I have always usevd Soltan on the dd's and myself,as I'm very fair & work outdoors, and none of us has ever gotten burnt whilst using it.
HTH

Should have said that the dd's are 4 & 3,so in & out of pools/sea all the time, but still never gotten burnt using Soltan.

soltan 50 lotion, not bitty, relatively easy to rub in for a factor 50 water resistant one

furious and polly thanks for comments - but was the cream bitty in your opinion?

will get lotion but was wondering if cream ok if bitty - three bottles so far are....
