Am on 10 different ones which I think is a lot but my pharmacist says it's not really. Good job I get them free as am diabetic.

4 plus my inhaler. One is a herbal thing, one is over the counter and 2 are the same thing as each other (I'm on 150mg sertraline so I take 2 tablets).

I also take paracetamol and ibuprofen on my period and tranexamic acid if things get desperate.

BrownSharpie · 01/03/2026 04:38

Probably 12-15 off the top of my head

Nanof8 · 01/03/2026 05:24

7 in am, 5 in pm and once a week I take 9 extra.
I have rheumatoid arthritis, adhd, and depression.

Lougle · 01/03/2026 05:33

9 in the morning (including 3 vitamin/minerals for migraine support). 1 midday. 9 in the evening (including 2 minerals for migraine support). 4 if I get a migraine.

Mydogisagentleman · 01/03/2026 05:59

2
That's enough for me

Morepositivemum · 01/03/2026 06:08

2, vitamin d and biotin. Op if it’s to treat something then it’s just necessary, my mum always tells me not to get carried away and to watch carefully and only take what I need as in what I’m low in, get as much from food as she took a lot of supplements to cover various possibilities even though she didn’t need all of them (eg calcium when not low in calcium, iron when she hadn’t been told she had low levels, a lot of different supplements to cover menopause but she said it was because she had a tough menopause and back then they didn’t recommend hrt) and it led to blood and kidney issues. But I remember growing up our medecine cabinet was like a Holland and barret!!

WillowTit · 01/03/2026 06:11

3 currently, on antibiotics
normally 2 for blood pressure
and an inhaler which is twice a day

WillowTit · 01/03/2026 06:12

are you on Omeprazole for your stomach @Britainisgreat

Sesma · 01/03/2026 06:26

None, I'm 68

LeafyMcLeafFace · 01/03/2026 06:41

Different ones? 9 plus 2 inhalers.

Like you I thought that was a lot,, I’ll stop complaining 🤣🤣

Upsetbetty · 01/03/2026 07:13

2 for high blood pressure
2 for underactive thyroid

I still can’t get my head around why I’m on them, it’s genetic I know that but I find it baffling that I need them. I’m now age 40 and a size 10 (5ft3). I also take vitamin D and magnesium daily.

PersephoneParlormaid · 01/03/2026 07:15

I’m 54 and I’ve been on thyroxine for 23 years, HRT (gel and coil) for 5 years, and I take 5 supplements a day.

Squirrelchops1 · 01/03/2026 07:25

My 92 year old mother is on ZERO!

traveltraveltravel78 · 01/03/2026 07:30

1 morning then 30 mins later 5, then 5 at lunch then 9 at night.
I have bipolar, fibromyalgia, hyper mobility syndrome and 2 prolapsed discs.

RosesAndHellebores · 01/03/2026 07:34

112.5mcg of levothyroxine (two pills) - since 1990
Adcal D3 (two pills) (osteoporosis)
Zolendronate infusion annually (osteopprosis)

I have pushed back on a statin but mother has just been diagnosed with having several silent strokes despite good bp, no diabetes and never having been overweight. I shall probably shortly reverse my decision about a statin.

SparklyGlitterballs · 01/03/2026 07:40

I'm down to 7, a mix of pain killers and anti-inflammatories as I'm recovering from a knee replacement. I now dose up twice a day instead of four times. I do take some vitamins on top of those.

Pricesandvices · 01/03/2026 07:45

None. I'm 50.
I occasionally remember to use my HRT gel, so I guess that counts though.

itsgettingweird · 01/03/2026 08:15

12 tablets a day but it’s just one medication - verapamil.

So 4 tablets 3 times a day.

Sometimes a sumatriptan injection as I take it for cluster headaches.

Teaandwater · 01/03/2026 08:25

None, just vitamins. I'm 45.

slapmyarseandcallmemary · 01/03/2026 08:29

TheNameWasOnceChosen · 01/03/2026 08:55

@SuperBlondie28
Its very important you take your blood pressure medication everyday.
Taking every other day can cause strokes, kidney failure and heart disease as it’s not controlled.
Can I ask why you don’t take it as prescribed

I believe the dose is too high for me now. It's a 10mg tablet. I'm not even sure I need them anymore. My BP was 136 over 99 when prescribed in 2019. I was having daily headaches so in pain which pushes BP up naturally . Going through perimenopause. Quite stressed with my daughter. Headaches went with HRT. Periods now finished. Daughter moved out.

Last summer, I was taking them in the evening daily and waking up feeling dizzy as hell. I could barely stand. I dropped to half a tablet a day and it stopped. I take them daily now in colder weather and I'm drowsy within an hour to the point where I'm nodding off. It's not easy to cut a small pill in half so I take one every 2 days now.

I do have a home BP machine to check it and it's OK with 5mg a day or 1 every 2 days.

landlordhell · 01/03/2026 09:00

About to be 55. None.

BG2015 · 01/03/2026 09:01

1 at night, 3 in a morning plus an injection every 8 weeks.
I have eosiniphilic asthma, high blood pressure and had breast cancer.
