Had them for fainting spells where I feel like I’m going to pass out for an hour and then it vanishes
they are redoing the cholesterol fasted as it’s wildly out from my last ones
hashimotos, historically low vitamin D and iron

Get chatgpt to explain them all to you

Lighterandbrighter · 27/02/2026 19:26

Your iron levels are out which could easily explain feeling faint.

My iron saturation is so slow to move. I’ve dragged it up from 12% but it’s taken ages

Your triglycerides are also high and you are creeping towards pre diabetes.....

The 38 one? She said that was fine as it’s been 38 for the last decade
got to have a fasted one in 6 months and she said my Q risk? Is 3%

Sounds like you know yourself what's normal to you

I just feel like I’m missing something
its not a dizzy feeling, I’ll be sat on the sofa and think oh shit I’m going to faint. Then for about an hour I’m unsure if I’m going to throw up or faint, feel like I need the toilet and then it passes

It's a sign you are insulin resistant and it can very quickly slide into t 2 with age, peri, even covid. fasting is irrelevant for hb1ac as it measures average blood sugar over three months. Q risk is heart disease risk but even if low it doesn't mean you shouldn't look at improving. Just mentioning it as unstable blood sugar can make you feel awful so just flagging it.

That sounds more like a panic attack

Oh that sounds awful. Could it be POTS?

CurlyhairedAssassin · 27/02/2026 20:28

38 is well within normal range of HbA1c. There’s no indication of ‘unstable sugars’.

There is nothing massively abnormal about these bloods. You are not anaemic and your ferritin is at a good level. Your thyroid is
normal. Your cholesterol is high but this is 1)
not a cause of your symptoms and 2) being dealt with appropriately.

I have hashimotos but they’ve upped my levo recently and my TSH is the lowest it’s been in years!
still on iron tablets as they want my iron saturation to increase more
