Lymphoedema in toes?

Hi

I went to a diabetic foot clinic today and they concur I do have lymphoedema and should lose the expectation to wear nice shoes. The service is axed under the nhs trust I’m under so I should expect minimum help beyond wraps.

The wraps which they want me to tighten just make me open bowels multiple times a day until stools make me bleed and very sore dealing with anal fissure and haemorrhoids possibly and that horrible smell coming from one’s backside.

I’ve tried to buy from haddenham a toe cap thingy for the foot but it just doesn’t work. Thicker then tights but does nothing to the ball of front foot.

I’ve even got down to 10 stone before through starvation years ago and that didn’t make a jot of difference.

would really love to hear from people who typically don’t have it in the leg.

They just run a Doppler test on feet and say I’ve no health issues/everything fine, criticism towards the surgeon in the other nhs trust saying why no pre op mri and why could’t they control blisters at leg this way rather then go in at ball of foot.

Apparently pain just stops on que at 18 months.
