Yesterday i came out in a little rash on forehead, centre and to one side. Like tiny milk spots which only hurt if you press on them. Ive had a headache, took yesterday off work for it. But otherwise fine. Chatgpt has freaked me out saying shingles. Whats the shingles rash like?

I had shingles on my forehead but strangely it didn't hurt to press which is what the A and E doctors did to test it (I was working there)? I had tablets from GP and was ok.

Get a GP to look at it asap.
You need to especially careful about it spreading towards your eyes, that would require urgent attention.

This. First thing in the morning

Please see your GP. You do not want ocular shingles.

I’ve had ocular shingles on the eye three times. You need to receive treatment for it within 72 hours for it to be effective. On the last instance, the eye hospital advised me for any future outbreaks, unless it was immediately on the eye, that I should just use over the counter acyclovir cream. If you can start with that if you happen to have any it, it will help.

Try to get in with your GP tomorrow morning.

I will try to add some photos.

The last two times I had it.

Thanks all. I will contact the GP first thing tomorrow. You cant really see the rash but can feel it. Its like tiny little spots.
