DD had an MRI earlier. She woke briefly, had a bit of toast and few sips of drink then has come home.Very crothchety so I put her in cot.She is still fast on.Do I just leave her to sleep, should I be worried she is still so sleepy or is this usual??

Can't offer any advice other than when I was sedated it took about 16 hours to wear off. How is she now? Hope she (and you) are ok.

I think the sedative makes them very sleepy--DD was very tired after her last MRI, when she was 14 months. Did they give you a number to call if you are worried?

ds had an MRI when he was 2 and a half - like your dd he woke briefly in the afternoon, then fell asleep on the way home and slept all evening and all night - in total he slept for 15 hours straight - something he'd never done before - or since!

Aah! Hope she's back to her normal self this morning. I haven't read any of your previous posts--did you find out what you wanted to know straightaway from the MRI or do you have to wait?
