Is there a d&v bug going round?

Ds1 and 2 have both had the squits really badly, but ds2 has been throwing up as well. This has been going on for about a week, and he keeps screwing his eyes up and moaning. He managed to keep some food down today, and he's drinking water.
They both had mumps jabs a couple of weeks ago. It couldn't be that could it?

There's been a d&v bug (or two...) going round since before Christmas. Mine had it twice between October and March. However, having it for a week is unusual if it's a normal viral thing - should be more like a couple of days of vomiting, and diarrhoea tailing off after about 5 days. Any chance they could have food poisoning???

Having had it go on for a whole week without getting better, I would get advice from a GP if I were you, to be on the safe side.

Well, they seem a bit perkier now. No doubt ds1 will be up in the night. I've only given him a small cheese sandwich tonight. He wanted fishfingers, chips and beans. No way jose!
