Calcium Deposits in kidneys

Hi! I just wanted to jump on and see if anyone knows what’s going on?

Ive Been having on and off stomach pain and UTI like symptoms for the last couple months, so bad that we thought it was my appendix on numerous occasions.

had an ultrasound a week ago, they’ve called me today to tell me I have ‘calcium deposits on my kidneys’ and they’re referring to urology. I’ve not been feeling well since yesterday, fever, uti symptoms again, stomach pain, headache, hurting to wee, urgency those sorts of things. Blood in my wee too, they’ve asked me to go down and give a sample and booked an urgent appointment today too.

Ive never heard of calcium deposits before especially in the kidneys and she didn’t really explain to me fully what it is. Has anyone else had this?

Do you take any vitamin supplements OP?

i don’t take any supplements at all, they’ve put me on hippurate and antibiotics (which aren’t helping)…

im not sure if this is linked but I spent years getting ultrasounds for my gynea issues (painful periods… we thought it was endometriosis). Every single ultrasound there wasn’t anything at all, nothing. When they went in (Laprascopy) they found some adhesions on my bowel and stomach and labeled them normal BUT they also saw my uterus had a ‘mottled, grey’ look to it… this wasn’t seen on the scans once and I had CT scans during this time too! They’ve not officially diagnosed me with anything in that regard and said I ‘might’ be adonomyosis but refuse to do any sort of testing of a hysterectomy (I have 2 children already) to see what it is.

My question i guess is… could it be linked? I’ve done some digging and seen that these
’calcium deposits’ I had on BOTH kidneys apparently on the ultrasound can make the uterus give a mottled look? The fact it’s only been seen on an ultrasound on my kidneys and never ever seen this supposed ‘look’ of my uterus at all on any scans whatsoever makes me believe maybe it’s just not able to catch it properly on scans? I saw the photos of the surgery myself and it looks partially like it’s a dying organ (ofc it’s not but I just want to emphasis the way it looked’ and the doctor even said she’s never seen it look like that before and it’s supposed to be pink.

im not sure I’m looking too deeply into it but it just suprised me as it was caught and the ultrasound and now they’ve just dropped all testing because nothing was seen!

I mean that if this look in my uterus could potentially be the calcium deposits and how it’s not been found on any scans whatsoever.
