Day time teeth whitening

I would love to get my teeth whitened, but I can’t sleep with anything in my mouth. I’ve heard the daytime trays are awful for sensitivity. Has anyone had good experience with day time teeth whitening options either at the dentist or at home? I wfh a lot of the week so unless I’m on teams don’t need to worry too much about being visible. I am at that stage of wanting a bit of a 40s glow up!

Watching with interest, @CheeryHazelFox

I’ve had really good results with the Gleam whitening strips.

I wasn’t expecting much, but I’ve been pleasantly surprised.

I use trays, sometimes with the overnight gel and sometimes with the daytime one. I can get some sensitivity with both but it’s not bad and doesn’t last long at all.

@Moen will try these first! Then try trays in the day as suggested by @PARunnerGirl

Crest whitening strips are the only ones that actually work however they cannot be bought in the UK due the peroxide level. I buy mine from Amazon.com (US site) and have them shipped over. I bought 44 strips (2boxes of 22) the 3D professional ones for £90 including postage and taxes. Much better value than the trays from the dentist. You wear them for 30-60 mins at a time and they really do work.

I'm on day 3 of the Gleam strips. They're definitely doing something, but at the age of 62 I will probably need the full 14 days of treatment for definite whitening. However they're easy to use & at around £25 currently for a 14 day supply pack very inexpensive.
