Had blood transfusion and iron infusions due to severe iron deficiency anaemia a few weeks ago. Had repeat bloods done and haemoglobin is now 140 but platelets are very high over 1000 and wbc high 11.9 and neutrophils 8.0. Am worried as this all sounds bad and might be something bad wrong. The other halfs not supportive and keeps crying. Waiting on test results and investigations. Anyone else been in this situation and what was done. Waiting on GP. My head is a bit of a mess and can't concentrate on work at moment. What a mess everything is.
