I was doing the dishes tonight and I got the most severe shooting pain in my lower right side near where my c section scar is ?! I’m 2 years post partum but wondering if it is scar adhesions? Or maybe something to do with ovaries?

Going to phone GP tomorrow as that pain defo wasn’t normal

Anyone had anything similar?

My period is due in 3 days so think I’m past ovulation, really sore when I press down on the area

Appendicitis ? Pain quite often starts on Right side and gradually goes towards umbilical area.

Oh I hope not, I’ve taken 2 cocodamols and got a heat patch on it now and the pain has subsided which is good but definitely still there

I think it’s the other way round…starts central near the belly then moves lower and to the right

Was gonna say Appendix?
Normally starts in middle of tummy near belly button and then goes to the right side

YelramBob · 17/02/2026 21:46

I had twinges in my lower right side which I ignored, thinking it was ovulation pain. Ended up in hospital with a ruptured appendix, wasn't pretty 😭

Ovarian cyst ?
