UTI and back pain?

So had a uti 3 months ago, got sent to an and e and had loads of tests including CT and cystoscopy. All normal. Normal ultrasound and ovaries but now for back pain, cramping mid tummy and urgency although no blood but GP has said UTI so on nitrofurantin. Anyone managed to avoid utis? Im post menopausal

My elder cousin told me something 10 years ago and I haven't had a UTI since

Every time I go to poo I put toilet paper covering the front part of the water

And I avoid the splash back

No UTIs since this
