Anyone had Plantar fasciitis and then swollen ankle bone?

Hi

I had PF last year and have started to try wearing normal shoes etc after 6-8 months because Plantar no longer hurts. Now my ankle is sore/puffy.

Anyone else had this? I am assuming it is related 🙄

Thanks 😊

Personally, I think that once you’ve had PF you’re in comfortable shoes for life. I wouldn’t go back to ballet flats or heels now, as I know it would start again in no time.

Yes this is me. I am still wearing the hideous shoes. It has now progressed to swollen and very painful ankles. I had been told it was arthritis, with the promise of a steroid injection, onli to now be told it's actually a problem with the ligament so an injection is not suitable. It's physio for me.

What is the physio?

Is it like the treatment to PF BCBird?
