Laryngitis and asthma

I think 💬 have laryngitis. It's been about 9 days since it started. However the last few days I feel out of breath. Can it cause an asthma flare? I'll probably call the GP in the morning but wanted other people's experience. My sinuses seem blocked too but no temp or anything

I had a throat infection at the end of last year, that after a week or so became a chest infection too and triggered my asthma. I went from being told the throat infection was viral (which it was) to needing antibiotics for a very nasty secondary chest infection which took near enough 6 weeks to fully shift.
