I am midway through a whole raft of blood tests, mainly because I have high calcium and high parathyroid, which is being monitored.
But last night I was completely thrown by a positive ENA antibodies result on the NHS App.
I do have uveitis ocassionally, as does my son, which I know is autoimmune.
And there are various auto immune issues down the broader family line...RA, ankylosing spondylitis, diabeties, ulcerative colitis - but no one has ever been tested for the ENA antibodies.
But now I'm panicking, as it mentions Lupus, Sjogrerns etc. which I knew nothing about.
I came back negative for RA.
Has anyone else tested positive for ENA antibodies?
It seems that up to perimenopause I was perfectly healthy, and now, post menopause, my body seems to be falling apart!
