Awful Virus 🦠

My two DS's 19 and 13 have an horrendous virus. Unbearably painful cough, bad headaches, sore throats, body aches, streaming noses. Struggling and coughakung sleep impossible.
Covid tests negative.
GP said rest and paracetamol, but just getting worse. Feel hideous.
Anyone have any tips or had something similar?

Sadly no advice but I'm currently getting taken out with this too. My DD was so unwell with it last week we had to end our holiday early. 😞

Sounds like the flu. Nothing for it except rest, painkillers and plenty of fluids.
