Is this a wart or dry skin??

I’m not sure if it’s a wart on my finger or not. I do weights at gym and pick up barbells. Only recently seen it and worried it’s a wart.

I’m no expert but I think it looks more like a callous than a wart. Warts are usually more raised and bumpy looking and they have tiny black dots in them.

I had 2 warts on my palm for years and they didn't look anything like that. They were hard little raised lumps, about 1mm in diameter each and very evenly circular in shape. They had no colour to them but were hard to touch. Both weirdly just disappeared at the same time after 10 years. I just noticed one day they had both completely gone.they weren't painful at all. They never went flaky either.

It doesn't look like a wart.

It looks like a callous, people get similar from gardening and I think DH had one from rowing
