Have dental problem - am in US

A few months ago I had pain which I thought was sinus. Dental x-ray showed infection on tooth which already had onlay. Think UK name of tooth is UR4 (first upper pre-molar). Root canal. Endo told prostho not to use post - but prostho insisted on gold post - now more pain. Endo started me on co-amoxiclav and will see me tomorrow for CBCT scan. I'm looking at an extraction, aren't I? 😩

It’s not looking good. It will depend on the cause of the pain. It could be a root fracture, a perforation or failed RCT.

make sure you know your options for the space before deciding on the extraction (it may be the only option)

I'm beating myself black and blue for not insisting the prostho call the endo, but that's not helping, is it. 😩
