Lasting cough after flu

Anyone who had that flu have a lasting cough after?

I used quite a lot of cough med and sinus rinses to clear out gunk - I'd actually never had that much. Felt quite dry after.

I get a dry cough quite easily now and am trying to get rid of it.

It was suggested to keep my throat warm and avoid cold air. I WFH so I'm not sure it's that. I've been using an air purifier at night. Got rid of scents that made it worse. Cleaned my window rims where they were getting condensation.

I'm wondering if it could maybe be some acid reflux and what would help that? I just need my throat to heal so it's less irritated as it's driving me nuts. I cough so hard that it's hard not to almost be sick which is what happened when I had the flu.

How long has it been? Lingering cough is pretty normal.

A cough for six weeks after is pretty standard I'd say. How long?

It was Nov I think. But I spent Christmas around woodburning stoves and also had some awful incense which I just got rid of.

It is improving week on week I think.
