Just some reassurance but my girl has been sick for 2 weeks, going into 3 now. It was bad at first she couldn't even walk and slept a lot but now she has gotten over the worst of it she still doesn't have much energy and doesn't want to go out to play and when we do it's not for very long. I feel like we've been housebound, the TV has been on far too much and I'm giving her anything she wants to eat just to make her eat. We did go to the doctor when her fever wouldn't subside after 3 days but she thinks it was flu. Obviously a proper flu but is it normal for her still to be so tired and snotty and now has a cough.
She's lost a good bit of weight too. I've never had a flu so long and only known elder people to suffer for so long.

Sounds like you need to go back to the GP. She’s probably just recovering still but worth getting it checked out.

Don’t worry about the screen time or bad diet. You do what you need to!

My DS is 3.5 and had flu in December and it was similar. He spent a full week on the sofa which is not like him at all, he went back to having naps and still needed early nights, went back into nappies as he had no energy to get off the sofa, watched hours and hours of tv, he did eat and drank loads luckily though. It definitely took him a while to get his energy back but after 14 days I'd say he was back to normal. Try to just go at her pace and energy levels :) put on the tv if she needs to rest, use a stroller if she can't manage a walk but if you're worried I'd take her to the doctors just for some reassurance too.
