Has anyone ever had pericoronitis before ?
last week I started having wisdom tooth pain and never thought anything of it. it got worse on Thursday so phoned the dentist but never got an appointment until today but during the weekend I had to go straight to the dental hospital as it was in agony. Turns out the gum sitting ontop of my tooth is inflamed and infected (I’ve never felt pain like it !)
this pain is radiating to my bit that attached my tongue to my mouth and also the tonsil on the left side where the infection is sore. I’ve been on 2 days of antibiotics ( metronidazole ) and a mouth wash and got one day left and still in agony. How long did it take for it to fully heal 😭😭😭 this pain is excruciating and it’s making me feel generally unwell and run down.
