I’ve been on anti biotics for a week for an infection. They’re making me feel sick but otherwise I’ve been fine.
today I had my morning dose and then went back to bed. I woke up and had some breakfast. After about half an hour it felt like I had indigestion. I took two rennies. This soon turned into the most excruciating pain on the right side of my abdomen. It was all round my back. Then I got a bit of javelin arse. I came on my period this morning too. But never get any pain. Mild back pain but that’s it. I was in pain for about 45 minutes. It hurt so so much. Felt worse than labour. It seemed to move and I went to the toilet and had diarrhea. I got back into bed and the pain eased off and I went to sleep. Since I’ve woken up I’ve had pain in my tummy. It hurts to touch and move as if I’ve pulled muscles. Not sure whether I need the doctor or not. Can’t do anything til the morning anyway.

As I've got older, I've found that antibiotics (and also some pain relief) just mess up my digestive system. My solution is a small helping of kefir yogurt everyday. I was doubtful but it actually does work for me.

What on earth is javelin arse?

@Willowkinsi think they are to blame to be honest. I’ve felt fine since. The pain was off the scale though.

Ooooh, I remember it well. Thankfully, my periods are long gone now.
