Can you feel lymph nodes?

Afternoon!

is it still January?! 😆

just had a cold, my lymph nodes in neck were up for a bit then have gone down.
I also have lymph nodes that I can feel that are permanently feelable, anyone else? Like as in, I’ve basically had them all my life. I’m 40. Little one in front of my ear.. think it’s a lymph node moveable structure in front of ear. Few in groin, neck, behind ears. Never grown. Just are ‘there’ and have been forever!

I have one (what I assume is) just under my ear in my neck. I always feel it and sometimes I'm not sure if it's a lump or not! But I've had it years!

I can fee several in my groin and neck area, yes. Im very slender and I think that’s why.

Yes you can feel them if they are superficial, you're not too overweight and you know what your feeling for. Like a little smooth pea.

I'm very overweight and can feel mine in my neck.

winterblues32 · 24/01/2026 18:15

Have you had them for as long as you can remember?

One behind my ear feels like a baked bean and had it since forever, but when you search on internet says you shouldn’t be able to feel lymph nodes and if you do it’s a concern! But I’ve got about 4 that I’ve been able to feel for about 20 years.

I’ve always been able to feel one in my neck and in my armpits

Swaytheboat · 24/01/2026 18:43

Yeah, since I was a child

winterblues32 · 24/01/2026 18:50

@Swaytheboatwhere do you feel yours?

Have no idea why I’m suddenly worrying about this!

@Swaytheboatwhere do you feel yours?

My boobs and my groin

If you've felt them for 20 years I don't think you have anything to worry about!
