Right side abdo pain

I started having generalised stomach pain yesterday but moved over to lower right side today and is still there. I’ve taken paracetamol and buscopan but hasn’t helped. No temp, no vomiting, bowels moving ok and I don’t have my gallbladder. Busting headache and difficult to sleep with the pain.

Any ideas?

Appendix?

I’ve prodded a bit but not getting the jumping reaction people talk about.

I’d get yourself checked for appendicitis

there is a virus that can cause similar symptoms but iirc it’s more children and teens (I had it as a teen, they almost whipped my appendix out.)

Mesonteric addenitis (or something like that!) it can affect the glands near the appendix

The pattern of the pain does sound like it could be an appendicitis. You should get check out.

You can have grumbling appendix where you get discomfort for months before a rupture. It’s worth keeping an eye on
