Prescriptions arriving without ordering

DD and DH both request their repeat prescriptions each month via the NHS app and our local pharmacy then delivers them to our home.

Recently, both their medications have been delivered without them ordering them via the app...is this how the system should work???

Have you inadvertently agreed to the pharmacy doing advanced repeats? They order automatically for patients who sign up for this.

My pharmacy started doing this without me asking. I was a bit confused first time (as they order quite well in advance from the GP) but now I’m used to it and it’s just one less thing for me to think about

Sounds very helpful.
