Mri Results

Hi, I had an MRI scan done on the NHS on Saturday at 6pm. The scan was to check my back/neck as I have had severe pain for nearly 2 years that no amount of pain killers will sort.

On Monday I got a call from orthopedic who asked for the scan, asking me to come in this Fri to discuss the results!

So an MRI scan done, results and appt in same week ... am I just lucky and its been a quick turnaround or summit else?

I know no one can tell me but was wondering if anyone else had results back to quick and all been ok?

Just luck that a radiologist was able to report back that quickly. Private I had a scan on a Tuesday evening and saw consultant on the Saturday.

Mine was back within a week. My scan showed some incidental findings which although not perfect (age related) was certainly nothing to be alarmed about. Although I wont lie I was alarmed at the speed of the results especially as I was told it could take up to 30 days

I would just accept that it’s a quick turnaround. Mine took 8 weeks; it felt like forever! Good luck 🤞

Ah these replies make me feel better, I was told 4 weeks tops so was beginning to wonder. Thanks all x
