Norethistrone to delay period

Hi all,

I go away to Australia for 2 weeks 28th March-11th April. I’m due on my period on the 6th April and I really don’t want it.
Ive taken norethistrone on a holiday before to stop my period coming but with the jet lag, time difference and just busyness of the holiday I don’t want to risk it this time.
is it possible to take norethistrone to delay my period before I go and then sort of bump the days out? E.g if I took it 11th Feb and stopped for my period mid March would this then reset my cycle to them come mid/ late April?

I've done that before, successfully.

Yes, exactly that. Do it for the February period. Then if that doesn’t quite work then the March one. I used to do this all the time. Trouble is that I started to feel really low when taking it - to the point of thinking very dark thoughts. Then they’d lift when I stopped. I now know this is a side effect.

This gives you two months to get the timing right, then theoretically you should get your March period done and dusted right before you go on holiday.

(I mentioned the dark thoughts part so that you don’t have this risk when on your lovely holiday, btw)
