I have chronic tennis elbow which doesn't seem to get better or worse and I manage it accordingly.
Last weekI woke up and the inside (medial) of the same elbow was really painful. I hadn't injured it as far as I was aware but it felt bruised and was pretty swollen around the bony bit and surrounding tissue. It was very tender, hurt to move and was warm to touch. It has gradually got better with the swelling going down and the pain at the site decreasing in size. However, it is still painful to touch and there appears to be a large marble sized, moveable lump above the bony nodule.
Initially I thought it must be golfers elbow but it doesn't feel the same type of pain as the other side. It's the same kind of pain as if you have a spot.
What on earth could it be?
