Mild Emphysema

Has anyone been diagnosed with this who wasn’t a smoker? I smoked socially for about 2 years 30 years ago. I grew up with my dad smoking - could it be from that? This was detected from a MRI on my neck which resulted in showing patchy opaqueness on my lungs. I had a chest scan to investigate further and this diagnosis came back. I do feel short of breath sometimes but put it down to being unfit

Have a look at whether you could have something called alpha 1 antitrypsin deficiency. It increases the risk.
