He's just 1 - tumbled from top to bottom, fall slowed by blankets stacked up on the side/ bottom corner.
He cried of course but his nose was bleeding, not sure if just bonked nose or can it be a sign of head injury?

I'm trying not to panic. He's having some milk and quiet now.

Thanks all - got there about 1.30, were triaged about 2.30 and then seen pretty quickly - they were worried as it was a lot of stairs, but the lovely paeds nurse who checked him said he seemed fine. Just to observe and ring if he gets worse.
He was pretty bored and tired by the time we left and cried all the way home - have just cancelled Dr as I can't put them through another waiting room ordeal today! It was just to get a note for school for the elder one so not vital.
Thanks for all your support, at least I know we've done what we could now.

I'm glad he's alright Wondering. How frightening for you.

How are you?

ShowOfHands · 12/06/2008 15:31

And which deity is making a special appearance in your artex today?

WonderingWhy · 12/06/2008 15:45

Thankyou, SoH, for your continuing faith in my 'artex deity' situation.

I need followers like you.

I am tired and have pasta in my hair, and a heavy, hot, sleepy baby lying on my lap.

Not so bad really
Jesus didn't come back. We may have had a brief visit from Abraham the other morning, still not sure who he was, am waiting for a sign. Usually you can tell by the beard.

It's like Guess Who? for theologists. Lovely way to while away the rainy days.

I have a matching baby on my lap.

WonderingWhy · 12/06/2008 15:53

Awww, matching baby

Yes, you will be aksing me next whether he had a big or little nose, and if he was wearing a hat

Is he bald?

Do they still make Guess Who? or is it offensive to bespectacled, folically challenged, nasally inconvenienced people?

WonderingWhy · 12/06/2008 15:58

Goodness, good point - but I think they do. It probably has a bigger racial mix now. I will look at it next time we are in a toy shop and report back

Toy shops.

Good to hear he is okay.
