Is there a slight illness going round where you haven't been sick or even felt sick, but you have the taste of sick in your mouth/throat?

Just that - two people in my life have mentioned noticing this on and off recently with no other symptoms. If it was just one person I would assume it was some form of acid reflux but it seems odd that two people have noticed it and neither of them usually suffers from acid reflux. Is it a weird virus?

Just the taste, or is there some reflux? I ask as I have had this a few times for no apparent reason too.

DH had violent diarrhoea for 48 hrs and awful acid reflux. Went to get him diyoralite and my local pharmacy said that the bug/virus is rife at the moment.

I wondered about reflux - but neither of these people usually gets reflux so they probably wouldn't recognise it. Good to know there is a possible explanation!
