Toothache

Have had toothache for a few days now been to see the dentist. Nothing stood out in the X-rays. Been advised to clean the tooth with Tpee brush, use corsodol twice daily, rinse mouth with salt water 4 times a day. Booked to see dentist again in a weeks time. She thinks food is stuck in a gap and causing issues. Been doing this a couple of days now tooth still aches. The area bleeds when using the Tpee brush. The salt water helps a bit but not for long. Any ideas how long this could carry on for or any suggestions to help. Have also taken paracetamol.

Could be intense inflammation

If you have any turmeric at all make a little paste and put all over for few hours

Keep going with tp. If it bleeds it's because it's irritated by whatever debris is stuck. Also dip the tp in corsodyl gel and rub the gel on affected tooth after using the chlorhexidine mouthwash.

I have a tooth that goes like that sometimes. It's the shape meaning stuff gets stuck easier. But she's not seen any bone loss, decay or infection so it will clear up.

Book in for a hygiene/ deep clean appointment?
